Visits to your home, workplace or sports environment can be arranged where necessary. Physioworks is situated in Podofit,St Andrews where there are a few stairs up to the physiotherapy clinic. Clients with mobility difficulties may find it more convenient to have a home visit. We are more than happy to arrange this for you.
Your physiotherapist, Liza Scott was educated at Madras College, St Andrews, qualifying as a Chartered physiotherapist in 1986. She has had extensive post graduate training achieving accreditation in the Mckenzie approach, is a member of the Society of Orthopaedic medicine and has passed her exam in steroid injection therapy. She is an A.C.E personal trainer and has attended advanced courses and completed an M.Sc module in the treatment of neurological conditions.
With the knowledge she has gained from these courses and many more she has expertise in the treatment of spinal problems, joint and soft tissue pathology, sports injuries, bio-mechanical problems, arthritis, fracture management and treatment of neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis or general decreased mobility or balance problems.

Podofit, provides specialist podiatry advice and fitting of running, walking and hiking footwear. Physioworks and Podofit work together, where needed to help manage your lower limb problems.
Podofit has been established for 26 years and has a team of HCPC registered podiatrists, led by Sara Boardman.
Foot Care Services include- Biomechanical assessments, gait analysis, orthotic assessment and prescription, chiropody treatments and footwear advice.
